Variety

My reading has a touch of variety on this post. (Just a touch)
The Frontiersman's Daughter is about early settlers in Kentucky. The main character's life goes from childhood to adult. It is a romantic book. I give it 4 stars. I read this free from ebookfling.com

The Devil's Peak is about abuses that occur in long-term care facilities. It is told from the viewpoint of a man who they believe to be brain dead, but he is actually aware of everything that goes on. This is an excellent book and tells the truth about things that happen, having worked 2 years in long-term care myself. The author also worked in long-term care. I give this 5 stars, and I think everyone would enjoy it. I got this for free from ebookfling, com also.

The Healing is about a family who moves from Pennsylvania to the Amish country in Kentucky. It is also romantic, and I give it 5 stars. It was especially interesting to me because I have an uncle who lives in that area.

Health wise, my stomach issues are much better. I have had a few episodes, but nothing like before.

I hit my broken leg on the toilet getting out of the shower last weekend. I have a bruise that is about 6-7 inches long and have been having increased pain. I had hidden the bruise from Scott until this morning. He said, "Why didn't we take you somewhere?" I said, "What are they going to do? They already put a rod in it."

Bentley is enjoying a week at the beach. He has tried all sorts of seafood, but he still likes kiwi better than anything else. He tried to taste sand but it fell out of his hand before he could get it to his mouth. He loves the pool too.
